Set up Yeah IPTV on a Firestick in five minutes

What you need

• A Fire TV Stick, Fire TV Cube or Fire TV smart TV, connected to the internet.
• Your Yeah IPTV login email (username, password and server URL). No login yet? Start the free trial first.
• About five minutes.

Step 1: allow apps from outside the Appstore

1. From the Fire TV home screen, open Settings (the gear icon on the right).
2. Go to My Fire TV › Developer options. If you don’t see Developer options, open About, highlight your device name and press the select button seven times.
3. Turn on Apps from Unknown Sources. On newer models it’s called Install unknown apps — switch it on for Downloader once Downloader is installed (step 2).

Step 2: install Downloader

1. Go back to the home screen and choose Find › Search.
2. Type Downloader and install the app with the orange icon. It’s free.
3. Open Downloader and allow it to access files when asked.

Step 3: install the IPTV player

We recommend IPTV Smarters Pro for most people: it’s free, clear to use and loads the TV guide automatically. Ask us on live chat for the current download address, then:

1. In Downloader, select the address box and type the download address we gave you.
2. Press Go. The app downloads, then the installer opens — choose Install.
3. When it’s done, choose Delete to remove the installer file and free up space (the app stays installed).

Step 4: sign in with your Yeah IPTV login

1. Open IPTV Smarters Pro and accept the terms.
2. Choose Login with Xtream Codes API.
3. Type any name (for example “Yeah”), then the username, password and server URL from your email.
4. Select Add user. The lineup, movies and series start downloading — about a minute the first time.

Copy the username, password and server URL straight from your email. They’re case-sensitive, and a space at the end is the most common reason a login fails.

Step 5: get comfortable

• Live TV opens the lineup grouped by country and category. Use the search icon to jump straight to what you want.
• Long-press anything to add it to favourites.
• Open EPG (the TV guide) to see what’s on now and next.
• In Settings, you can hide country groups you never watch — zapping gets much faster.

If something goes wrong

• Downloader says the file can’t be found: check the address for typos, or ask us on live chat for a fresh one.
• “Invalid login”: retype the details from your email exactly — no extra spaces.
• Buffering: restart the stick (unplug for 10 seconds), move your router closer or use a 5 GHz Wi-Fi network. A Fire TV Ethernet adapter fixes most problems for good.
• Guide times an hour out: open the player’s settings and adjust the EPG time offset.
