Install IPTV on a Samsung or LG smart TV

Which player to install

• Android TV / Google TV sets (Sony, TCL, Philips and others): install IPTV Smarters Pro or TiviMate from the Play Store, then follow our Android guide.
• Samsung and LG: search the TV’s app store for IPTV Smarters Pro first. If it isn’t available in your country, use a playlist-based player such as IBO Player or SS IPTV.
• Hisense / VIDAA: search the app store for an IPTV player; playlist-based players work the same way as on Samsung and LG.

Option A: a player with an Xtream login

1. Open your TV’s app store (Samsung: Apps; LG: LG Content Store) and install the player.
2. Open it and choose Xtream Codes / Login with Xtream.
3. Enter the username, password and server URL from your Yeah IPTV email.
4. Wait for the lineup and TV guide to load, then add your favourites.

Option B: a playlist-based player (MAC address)

Some TV players don’t take a login on screen. Instead they show a MAC address (and sometimes a device key) and you add your playlist on the player’s website from your phone or computer.

1. Install the player and open it. Note the MAC address / device key it shows.
2. On your phone or computer, open the player’s website and find the playlist upload page.
3. Enter the MAC address, then paste the M3U playlist link from your Yeah IPTV email.
4. Restart the app on the TV. Your lineup appears.

Playlist-based players often charge a small one-time activation fee after their own trial. That’s the app developer’s fee, not ours. If you’d rather avoid it, a Fire TV Stick with a free player is the cheapest route.

Get the picture right

• Use a wired connection if the TV has an Ethernet port — smart TV Wi-Fi is often weaker than a stick’s.
• If 4K streams buffer, switch to the FHD version.
• Turn off your TV’s motion smoothing for sport if the picture looks unnatural.
